Ottawa - December 9, 2008— Onix leading Autodesk Reseller in Ottawa, today announced the launching of their new web site; www.onix.ca designed to provide the Ottawa design community a primary destination for design technology information, news and resources.

The new website is based on a web platform that allows for blog style posting; easily enabling article and content postings by Onix technical experts.  Considerable thought went into the design and content to ensure this site could easily be used as a resource for industry information, design resources, and product support.  

Onix designed this site with categories dedicated to Architecture & Building, Civil Engineering, Geospatial, and Government, industries to provide the local design community pertinent information on current news, events, promotions, and product announcements specific to their interests.  This includes highlights of the latest in design and hardware initiatives such as Integrated Project Delivery, Building Information Modeling, Green Building, and bringing the latest product news from Onix’s primary partners, Autodesk, Inc., Hewlett Packard and others.     

Particular efforts went into the addition of a government specific page to where visitors can find links and information to quickly purchase product or answer questions on pricing and product specifications.  This also includes direct link to Red Sash, an aboriginal technology company.
